JOIN FLEET FEET RUNNING CLUB PORTLAND FOR YOUR SPRING DISTANCE TRAINING!

Fleet Feet Running Club Spring Distance Program offers a 14-week HALF & FULL MARATHON training group and an 8-week 15k training group that will have options for both beginners and seasoned runners.

Spring Distance Training is a 14-week run/walk program to train runners of all ability levels to successfully complete various Spring races including the Shamrock 15k on March 18, 2018, The Spring Classic Home Depot Half Marathon on April 22, 2018 and the Eugene Marathon on April 29, 2018. You may have a different race in mind and we'd love to help you train for that as well.  Whether it's your first or fifteenth long distance event, we promise you will learn new things, meet new people, and have fun along the way to meeting your goals!  Training begins Wednesday, January 24, 2018. 

WHEN: Weekly training runs will be on Wednesdays at 6pm and Saturdays at 8:00am.
WHERE: The group meets at Fleet Feet Sports Portland

Registration will close on Feb 8th.


15k Fast & Finish Programs: Registration Closed

PROGRAM COST: $79 (plus sales tax) before 1/18, +$20.00 after (Travel & Race Entry not included) Note: 8-week training program
PREREQUISITE TO JOIN: 
Be able to comfortably run 3 miles at a 15 min per mile pace or faster.  Our first long run will begin around 4 miles.  This pace requirement will help ensure you that you will be able to finish a half marathon before the close of most courses.


HALF Marathon Finish & Fast Programs: Registration Closed

PROGRAM COST: $100 (plus sales tax) before 1/18, +$20.00 after (Travel & Race Entry not included)

PREREQUISITE TO JOIN: Be able to comfortably run 3 miles at a 15 min per mile pace or faster.  Our first long run will begin around 4 miles.  This pace requirement will help ensure you that you will be able to finish a half marathon before the close of most courses.


FULL Marathon Finish & Fast Programs: Registration Closed

PROGRAM COST: $120 (plus sales tax) before 1/18, +$20.00 after (Travel & Race Entry not included)
PREREQUISITE TO JOIN: Be able to comfortably run 5 miles at a 15 min per mile pace or faster.  Our first long run will begin around 6 miles.  This pace requirement will help ensure you that you will be able to finish a full marathon before the close of most courses.


FFRC Spring Distance Training Portland participants will receive:

•A 14-week training program and workout log via Training Peaks (8 week program if 15k participant)
•Coach/Mentored weekly training sessions
•Access to coaches/mentors via email during the week
•Specific in-store discounts throughout the program.
•Informational clinics on proper footwear, injury prevention, nutrition, running form, race tactics and more
•Dedicated support from your coach/mentor to answer individual questions
•The camaraderie of others with the same goal!

Join us for our Spring Fleet Feet Running Club programs Informational Night on Thursday, January 18th at 6pm at Fleet Feet Sports Portland. We will showcase our upcoming Spring programs for Portland, Lake Oswego and Vancouver. You will meet coaches and mentors who will train the season with you. Mark your calendars!
